Glory At Sea
Yo, if this is your first time stopping by you should think about subscribing to my shit. It's the best on the web fo'rils.RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I just saw this movie last night. Filmed in New Orleans just after of Katrina, it’s an allegory for the whole disaster. But it’s not preachy or educational or in any way lame. It’s actually a totally perfect film made by a RISD grad with the help of lots of other RISD grads, who you probably know. Do whatever you have to do to see this film. Here at two screenings, two tonight and one on Tuesday, all in New York. Kind of out of date website at court13.com
an Obama fundraiser Glory at Sea, Egg, I Get Wet, Jettison Your Loved Ones and Death to the Tinman will all be screening continuously starting at 6pm at East Coast Aliens - http://www.eastcoastaliens.comandmidnight at Van Goghs Lounge - http://www.myspace.com/vangoghsradiolounge147 Franklin Street (between India & Java) Greenpoint, NY
and “Love my Block” Summer Film Festival July 29th 8pm - this looks awesome, outdoor Glory in this Amphitheater-like park in the bronx Bronx, overlooking the East River, highly recommended: http://nycvote.blogspot.com/ at Barretto Point Park: 2/5/6 train. A pool shuttle that leaves you directly in front of the park is also available from the MTA. The Shuttle runs every 30 minutes and can be caught at 163 and Fox St or Longwood and Hunts Point.
