No mat­ter how much they try to kill it, the Polaroid is still beloved by art stars and ama­teurs alike. Tonight, as part of the party crew LVHRD’s ongo­ing cul­tural bat­tles, three artists — Jonathan Har­ris, whose work is cur­rently hang­ing in MoMA; Joseph O. Holmes, a street pho­tog­ra­pher rep­re­sented by the Jen Bek­man gallery; and Eliz­a­beth Wein­berg, who spe­cial­izes in shoot­ing indie rock­ers —will stitch together their Polaroid shots in a live-​​action photo mon­tage com­pe­ti­tion. Because the event cel­e­brates the old-​​fashioned art of visual sto­ry­telling, the crowd is — some­what ambigu­ously — encour­aged to dress like grand­mas. Also, there’s an open bar
